The media clarified what weapons South Korea can supply to Ukraine. The volume of supplies will depend on the position of the Kremlin regarding its relations with North Korea.

Recently, the South Korean government admitted the possibility of supplying weapons to Ukraine. Thus, Seoul reacted to the signing of a "strategic" agreement between Moscow and Pyongyang.

Yonhap Agency clarifies, citing sources in the South Korean government, that the country's authorities may approve the supply of 155 mm air defence systems and artillery shells to Kyiv.

According to the official with whom the journalists spoke, there are different options for providing weapons to Kyiv.

Seoul's position on this issue will depend on the Kremlin's steps regarding its relations with North Korea.

Prior to that, South Korea provided Ukraine with only non-lethal equipment, guided by a policy prohibiting the supply of lethal weapons to states at war.
