Media: UAVs Attack Russia's Largest Aviation Fuel Plant

A pipeline, roof, and building were damaged.

The night of June 27 was unsettled in Russia, and all because of an attack by unknown drones. This was reported by the Russian media outlet Astra.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the night they allegedly managed to stop an “attack with aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles” on a number of objects.

“Four UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Tver region, two UAVs over the territory of the Moscow region, and one UAV over the territory of the Belgorod region,” the report says.

After this, the Astra Telegram channel published footage showing the immediate moment of the drone attack in the Tver region. Local residents began to claim that the aerial object fell on the plant that produces aviation fuel, but local authorities did not comment on this information.

Later, Russian media sources reported that the Redkinsky pilot plant was damaged by four drones in the Tver region. It was there that aviation fuel could have been produced.

“The attack took place on the night of June 27. The pipeline, roof, and building of one of the workshops were damaged at the plant. There were no casualties, all employees were evacuated,” the report said.

This enterprise, as is known, is one of the largest chemical production facilities for aviation fuel in Russia. More than 40 types of products for various purposes were produced there.
