Aleinik’s No Longer Foreign Minister

Lukashenka has made a number of personnel appointments today.

There have been significant personnel changes at the highest levels of government in Belarus. The dictator's press service announced a number of appointments today.

The changes include the dismissal of Siarhei Aleinik from the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs, which he held since December 13, 2022, following the death of Uladzimir Makei on November 26 of the same year.

The appointment of the first deputy head of the administration, deputy prime minister for the agro-industrial complex, minister of agriculture, minister of industry, Lukashenka's aide for Minsk and ambassador to Russia is also expected.

The names of the new appointees have not yet been officially disclosed.
