Leaders from 160 countries are due to attend the summit.

The Swiss Army is mobilising 4,000 troops. They will help guard the peace summit organised by Ukraine on June 15-16.

This is reported by El Mundo.

According to the newspaper, the Swiss army has mobilised about 4000 servicemen since Monday. They will help to ensure the security of the peace summit on Ukraine, which will be held in the Swiss town of Bürgenstock on June 15-16. Leaders from 160 countries are due to attend the summit.

The military, which will be in place until June 19, will support the police in tasks such as securing critical facilities, airspace surveillance and logistics.

Also, the Swiss government said that certain airspace restrictions will be in effect in the area of the summit from June 13 to 17. This applies to non-commercial flights and flights of drones and other unmanned objects. The area will be constantly patrolled by F/A 18 fighter jets.
