Man Throws ‘Molotov Cocktails’ At Dmitry Donskoy Temple In Tyumen

An unknown man threw several Molotov cocktails at the church ‘In the name of the Holy Prince Dmitry Donskoy’ in Tyumen, reported the Tyumen Online portal and Komsomolskaya Pravda - Tyumen.

The footage, filmed by eyewitnesses, shows a man taking bottles with incendiary mixture out of a bag and throwing them at the door of the temple, a fire starts. Then the man gets on his bicycle and leaves.

The press service of the department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Tyumen region told ‘Tyumen Online’ that eyewitnesses managed to extinguish the fire before the arrival of firefighters.

The arson attempt took place at around 20:40 local time. ‘Currently, police officers are carrying out measures aimed at establishing the identity and detention of the man,’ said the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
