Media: Russians Start Retreating From Vovchansk Under Pressure Of 36th AFU Brigade

Ukrainian marines launched an unexpected counterattack.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' 36th Mykolaiv brigade has been moved to Vovchansk and counterattacked the Russian army, dialog.ua reported.

Russian sources also confirm the AFU counterattack in the Belgorod direction of the front in Vovchansk.

‘War correspondent’ Anatoliy Radov said in his Telegram channel that the 36th brigade of the AFU was unexpectedly deployed in the town.

Moreover, the ‘war correspondent’ said that the Ukrainian military had pushed the enemy, which was forced to retreat.

‘The 36th brigade of the AFU is already in Vovchansk, our guys also will be replaced by others, professional guys, the stir will begin. For now, the 36th, unfortunately, pushed our guys a little,’ wrote Radov.

Earlier, the Ukrainian marines published a video of questioning a group of captured Russian attackers.

According to the Ukrainian side, the marines of the 36th brigade from Mykolaiv carried out a lightning counterattack. The AFU fighters showed the documents and badges of the captured Russian servicemen.
