First Drones Strike Mozdok Military Airfield In North Ossetia

The drones covered more than a thousand kilometers.

On the morning of June 8, the Russian Defense Ministry complained about another attack by Ukrainian drones. The department said that they allegedly “destroyed the UAV” over the territory of the Republic of North Ossetia.

Thus, the Russian Federation confirmed that the drone covered a distance of at least 1 thousand kilometers. The Russian Defense Ministry announced the attack on its Telegram channel, obozrevatel.com reports.

According to the legend of the Russian terrorists, the aircraft-type drone was allegedly “destroyed” at about 8:40 am.

“The Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the territory of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania,” the Russian terrorist department said in a statement.

At the same time, head of North Ossetia Sergei Menyailo said that three Ukrainian drones tried to attack a military airfield in Mozdok. The Russian official promised to tell about the details of the attack later.

“Three unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense forces in Mozdok. According to preliminary information, the UAVs arrived from the Ukrainian side. Their target was a military airfield,” Menyailo said.
