The only checkpoint for freight transport is closed for entry.

The State Customs Committee of Belarus reported that from 03.00 on July 10, the Polish side does not accept freight vehicles travelling from our country through the Kazlovichy checkpoint.

To date, only one border crossing for passenger transport ("Brest — Terespol") and one for trucks ("Kukuryky — Kazlovichy"), as well as a freight railway crossing, have operated on the border of Poland and Belarus.

If yesterday there was no queue of trucks at the Kazlovichy checkpoint, then over the past night their number increased to 600.

"According to drivers crossing the Belarusian-Polish border, the Poles have strengthened control," the Belarusian SCC noted.

Vehicles are still moving through this checkpoint in the direction of Belarus but much slower than usual.

In early July, Poland blocked railway traffic for 33 hours at the customs clearance terminal in Małaszewicze on the border with Belarus. Officially, the customs authorities reported that routine control measures were taken to protect the customs territory of the EU from the arrival of dangerous goods or substances. The Polish government decided to use this form of pressure on the Lukashenka regime, for which transit revenues make up a significant part of the budget.

In addition, Warsaw is counting on pressure on Minsk from China, which may suffer losses due to the blocking of the terminal in Małaszewicze. Through this terminal, Chinese goods arrive by land to the West.
