Zakharova Throws Tantrum Over Sending First F-16s To Ukraine

The State Duma tried to calm Russians.

Already this summer Ukraine will receive the first F-16s from the Netherlands and Denmark, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced at the NATO summit in Washington. A tantrum has been thrown in Russia over the matter.

Russian Foreign Ministry press attaché Maria Zakharova tried to insult Western countries in the traditional manner.

"Plans to supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets show that Washington is leading the 'war gang'," Zakharova said.

At the same time, Andrei Kartapolov, head of the State Duma's defence committee, tried to calm the Russian public.

"The transfer of F-16s to Ukraine will not affect the course of the SMO in any way and will not change anything, Russia is ready for it," he said.

Before that, Kremlin propagandists promised to destroy the F-16 fighter jets the moment they first appear in Ukraine.
