Russian ‘Shahed’ Flew To Vitsebsk

The drone had been circling over Belarus for three hours and mysteriously disappeared.

On the night of July 13, Russia again attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. One of these UAVs probably entered Belarusian airspace across the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Homel region around 3 am.

This was reported by obozrevatel.com with a reference to the monitoring group “Belarusian Hayun”. The drone circled over the country for almost three hours and, apparently, flew to Vitsebsk and disappeared.

The Air Force and Air Defense Troops of the Republic of Belarus were again on alert at 5 a.m. to intercept. A Mi-24 helicopter and a Su-30 fighter unsuccessfully patrolled the southeast of the Vitsebsk region for an hour and a half.

The further fate of the Shahed on the territory of Belarus is unknown. There is no information about it being shot down or falling. Belarusian aviation has returned to its permanent location.

In the evening of July 11, during another Russian drone strike on Ukraine, one of the enemy Shahed-136s flew over the territory of Belarus.
