Russia Suffers Record-Breaking Losses In The War

Its losses reached the highest levels in the entire war.

Russia has suffered record losses in the last 60 days, losing 70,000 troops, and is expected to lose more than 1,000 people daily, according to UK Defence Journal and UK Defence Journal и The Telegraph, citing British intelligence data.

The UK Ministry of Defence reports that significant losses are related to fighting on the Kharkiv front and are likely to continue as Russia seeks to make gains on the front lines in Ukraine.

The report says that “the average daily Russian casualties (killed and wounded) in Ukraine in May and June 2024 reached the highest levels in the entire conflict — 1,262 and 1,163 respectively”.
