Explosions In Occupied Mariupol: Blackout In City

The AFU hit the Russian air defence systems.

On the night of Tuesday, July 16, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian city of Mariupol. Electricity disappeared in some parts of the city.

This was reported on Telegram by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko.

According to him, at least five explosions were heard in the occupied city.

"Fly-ins. At least two between "Nevsky" and Agrobase in the direction of Mangush. Apparently, "all were shot down" by the air defence systems on duty. By the nature of the attack - first the air defence basing was uncovered, and then the air defence systems themselves were taking gifts," Andryushchenko wrote.

As noted by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, it is also reported about the probable fly-ins or falling debris in the area of Bilosarayska spit and Melekine of Mariupol district.

According to Andryushchenko, power supply in the city partially disappeared after the attack.

"Central district - Novoselivka - the blackout in full," he added.
