The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed the Russian S-300 complex in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region at midnight.

The video was published by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky on his Facebook page.

“I express my gratitude to the soldiers for the successful completion of the combat mission! Today at midnight, units of the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck a hostile S-300 complex in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region. According to intelligence, the destruction of the enemy's radar station and launchers has been confirmed,” he wrote.

According to Syrsky, more detailed information about the consequences of the strike is being obtained. However, this is not the first successful joint work of Ukrainian missile men and representatives of other components of the Defense Forces on important military targets of the Russian Federation. In particular, more than 20 launchers and about 15 radar stations had already been destroyed.

“We continue to systematically destroy the potential of Russian air defense, creating favorable conditions for the successful use of strike aircraft,” he added.
