Ukraine Returned Home 95 Defenders From Russian Captivity

Today, July 17, 95 defenders of Ukraine returned home from Russian captivity. The exchange took place through the mediation of the UAE.

“We continue to bring our people home. Another 95 defenders were released from Russian captivity. They are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, border guards,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram.

He thanked the UAE for mediating this exchange.

“Grateful to our team involved in the exchanges and to the United Arab Emirates for mediating this release. No matter how difficult it may be, we are looking for everyone who may be in captivity. We must return everyone,” Zelensky concluded.
