In the Polish city of Świętoszów, construction of a base for the accommodation of over 1,000 US Army troops has been completed, the Polish agency PAP reported.
The base is designed to provide temporary accommodation for allied troops during exercises at the training ground.
In addition, the facility should facilitate the rotation of American soldiers.
“The base will also be used for rapid assembly, receipt of supplies and configuration of combat equipment before moving to the tactical assembly area,” Brigadier General Dariusz Mendralaм told the agency.
