Real Madrid Becomes World’s Most Valuable Football Brand Again

Manchester City and Barcelona made it to the top three.

Real Madrid has pushed Manchester City aside and returned to first place in the ranking of the most valuable football brands in the world, according to consulting company Brand Finance.

The value of the Real Madrid brand, which won the Spanish championship and Super Cup, as well as the Champions League last season, has grown by 16% to €1.7 billion.

Barcelona, despite ongoing financial problems, remained in third place. Manchester United is in fourth place, and Liverpool is in fifth.

Paris Saint-Germain lost sixth place to Bayern Munich.

Six of the ten clubs in the top ten represent the English Premier League.

Top 10 Brand Finance rating:

1 (2). Real Madrid — €1,685 billion;

2 (1). Manchester City — €1,611 billion;

3 (3). Barcelona — €1,542 billion;

4 (4). Manchester United — €1,398;

5 (5). Liverpool — €1,380 billion;

6 (7). Bayern Munich — €1,236 billion;

7 (6). PSG — €1,208 billion;

8 (8). Arsenal — €996 million;

9 (9). Tottenham — €868 million;

10 (10). Chelsea — €838 million.

At the end of May, Forbes once again named Real the most expensive club in the world, estimating its value at $6.6 billion.
