Felshtinsky and Feigin explain why it is important to liberate Belarus.

Famous American analyst and historian Yuri Felshtinsky became a guest of the Youtube channel of the Russian oppositionist, former State Duma deputy and blogger Mark Feigin. The broadcast entitled "Belarusian Putin's Torpedo" began with a discussion of the actions of the Lukashenka regime on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border.

At the beginning of the conversation, Feigin noted that the actions of the Belarusian dictator may indicate that Lukashenka is trying to absolve himself of responsibility for a possible attack by Russian troops on the Kyiv region from the north:

"It seems that he [Lukashenka — ed.] realizes (I think that he has been warned many times) that if the second series of attacks from the territory of Belarus from the north to Ukraine is repeated, then Lukashenka will be in trouble. Because no one will choose the means. Moreover, the West not only will not limit Ukraine, it will help even more, because it is one thing to communicate with Moscow, and Belarus is still lower in scale."

Felshtinsky said that Lukashenka cannot be perceived as an independent political player. The analyst added that the liberation of Belarus from Russian occupation is the key to Ukraine's victory in the war with Russia.

"It is impossible to end this war without the liberation of Belarus, because Belarus is a geopolitical base for Russia's offensive against Europe. If Putin controls Belarus, then he reserves the military possibility of attacking Europe and conducting ground operations against European NATO member states.

After the November elections in the US, if Trump wins, the situation in terms of NATO's resilience may change dramatically. Therefore, Belarus is very important.
