Explosions In Kyiv And The Region

Air defense was in operation.

Explosions thundered in Kyiv and the Kyiv region and an air raid alarm was declared.

Air defense is working against Russian attack drones.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko and the Kyiv City Military Administration.

“In the Kyiv region, air defense forces are working against enemy UAVs. Do not ignore the alarm signals!” Klitschko wrote.

“Attention! UAV threat to the capital! Head for cover!” the Kyiv City Military Administration reported.

The air raid alarm was declared in the Kyiv region at 2:07 (Minsk time).

The alarm was declared at 2:21 am in Kyiv.

Later, the air raid alarm was cancelled in the capital of Ukraine. And before that, they announced that the threat of enemy air attacks in the Kyiv region had been lifted.

“We ask you to closely monitor the messages and, in the event of an alarm, return to shelters,” the Kyiv City Military Administration added.
