Attack on Russian ferry in Kavkaz port: vessel catches fire

Russia confirms there was an attack on the ferry.

Russia confirmed that Ukrainian forces had attacked a ferry in Kavkaz port, unian.net noted.

The vessel caught fire, allegedly there were casualties and a dead person among the crew and port employees, Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev wrote on Tuesday, July 23, in his Telegram channel.

“This morning, a ferry in the Kavkaz port was attacked by drones. Emergency services are currently working on the scene. The fire is localized, there is no threat of spreading,” the enemy official claims.

Information that the ferry was “hit hard” has leaked online. According to the Crimean Wind channel, Russian publics are deleting messages about the incident at the port.

“That’s it, the comments in the Z-public have been closed and deleted, people have started writing too much truth there about the ferry that was hit in the Kavkaz port,” the message says.
