Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk Might Be Transferred From ‘Navinki’

Her relatives did not have time to pass her medication.

Political prisoner Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk may have been transferred from the Republican Centre of Mental Health ‘Navinki’.

This was reported to Charter97.org by her husband, ‘European Belarus’ activist Andrei Sharenda.

Polina did not have time to receive groceries, necessary belongings and medicines. Now it's unknown where the political prisoner is.

We remind you that Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk has been diagnosed with a serious disease - chronic pancreatitis of medium severity.

Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk was detained on January 3, 2021. The law enforcers broke down the door of the flat, conducted an inspection, confiscated a number of things, and Palina was detained and taken in handcuffs to the temporary detention centre. She was later transferred to a pre-trial detention centre.

On June 9, 2021, the Maskouski District Court of Brest sentenced her to two years in a penal colony, after which the term was repeatedly extended.

Over the years, she was placed in the punishment cell several times and was also sent to a ward-type room for six months. Palina is in complete isolation. The European Belarus activist's health has deteriorated badly in the colony.
