What is the West doing?
An air raid siren has been sounding in Romania for the second night in a row. Russia is bombing Ukraine with Iranian “Shaheds” that fly into NATO airspace. And do you know what's happening? Nothing.
The Romanian authorities are telling residents of their border area that they should not panic and “not a single part of our territory is the target of attacks by the Russian Federation”. The costs of barbaric bombing of a neighboring country, well, it happens.
To be honest, this is some kind of global theater of the absurd. The “Axis of Evil” forces are methodically destroying Ukraine's infrastructure, completely ignoring the “hits” over NATO territory, trying to bomb Israel every day, blocking trade in the Red Sea. And the West is busy discussing the health of the leaders of the free world, opening the Olympics, anything but pacifying the madmen from Moscow and Tehran who are dangerous to the whole world.
Attempts at “pacification”, “de-escalation”, and in fact ignoring the reality, which is no longer just knocking on the door, but flying into the yard in the form of Iranian drones, will lead to only one thing: escalation will be lightning fast. One day, dictatorships will put the civilized world before a choice — either capitulation or a big war. In order not to have to make this choice, it was necessary to start acting “yesterday”. It is not too late to at least try to avoid a catastrophe.
