Valfovich Takes Offense At Armenians

They did not come to the parade in Minsk.

Today a military parade dedicated to Independence Day was held in Minsk. In addition to the Belarusian military, parade squads from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in it. According to Head of the Security Council Aliaksandr Valfovich, the Armenian side was also invited, but they refused.

“Armenia is still a member of the CSTO, it is invited to all forums within this organization. But for some far-fetched, most likely subjective reasons (we understand what these reasons are), unfortunately, the Armenian delegation, the Armenian parade crews did not arrive to participate in the parade,” said the Secretary of State of the Security Council.

It is important to note that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that he would not come to Minsk while Lukashenka was in power there.
