Night Attack: Explosions Heard In Kyiv

Russia hit with waves of "Shaheds".

An air alert was declared in Kyiv this night because of another Russian air attack. After that explosions were heard in the capital, air defence forces and means were working because of fixing kamikaze drones of the enemy.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Kyiv city military administration (KCMA) and its own correspondent.

The alarm was heard in the Ukrainian capital at about 4:13.

The administration urged residents and guests of Kyiv to head urgently to the civil defence shelter.

After that, explosions were heard in the city.

The head of the KCMA Serhiy Popko said that the air defence forces and means were working at the approaches to Kyiv and in the region.

It should be noted that, apart from Kyiv, the air alert has also been going on since late evening in several regions. The reason is another attack of the enemy with the use of attack drones of the Shahed type.

Data on the Kamikaze Drones' Movement

At 04:36 the command of the Air Force of the AFU provided new data on the movement of "Shaheds":

kamikaze drones were heading westwards south of Kyiv,

enemy UAVs were detected on the border of Sumy and Chernihiv regions - heading west/south-west,

attack drones in the southern part of Kharkiv region were heading south.

The Aborting of the Alarm

As early as 04:51, the capital announced the air alert had been cancelled.

"We ask you to follow the messages carefully and, in case the alarm is announced, return to shelter," the administration added.
