Lukashenka Admitted His Serious Health Problems

The day before, the dictator felt ill at the SCO summit in Astana.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka admitted that he is experiencing serious health problems and “needs rest.” He announced this on July 6 at the republican holiday “Kupala” (“Aleksandria Gathers Friends”). Earlier it was reported that he was ill in Astana during the SCO summit.

The dictator said that he had a hard time with the last few days and would like to stay in the east of Belarus for some time. The press service published a video of a fragment of his speech this morning.

“I would like to share my thoughts with you. They will probably be very important to you. The month of July is always a difficult time for me. There are a lot of public events. And the most difficult thing is when there are a huge number of people, and everyone, looking at you, is looking for something in you: somewhere they curse... somewhere something else. And this huge number of people greatly influences a person, especially such as parades and other special events. And there was an additional burden associated with Kazakhstan, Astana, 4,000 kilometers away. I say this because these days are difficult,” the dictator said.

On the evening of July 5, the TV Rain channel reported that Lukashenka’s condition had deteriorated sharply during his visit to the SCO summit in Astana. Journalists cited their sources. According to the TV Rain, Lukashenka’s health problems began on July 3, a few hours after arriving in Astana.
