Russians ‘Walk’ Through Most Contaminated Zone Of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant

An ecologist has shocked with the consequences.

Russian occupiers have received significant radiation exposure during a walk through the Red Forest. The fact that the occupants were sent to the Chernobyl zone in 2022 shows the extreme cynicism and indifference of Putin's regime to the lives of its soldiers.

Volodymyr Boreyko, ecologist, Director of the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Centre, Honoured Conservationist of Ukraine, told about this during a chat on ‘Glavred’.

‘Certainly, the Russian soldiers who were sent on a hike through the Redwoods received radiation exposure. The same thing happened as in 1986, when construction workers without respirators and special protection were driven there. And the same thing happened in 2022, but with Russian troops. There are certain areas where radiation levels are still very high,’ the ecologist said.

According to him, although the Russian authorities are not conducting research into the impact of this walk on the health of their military, it is obvious that they received a significant dose of radiation.
