Kadyrov's Ally Blames Russian Generals For Failure Of Kursk Region Defense

Apti Alaudinov called on Putin to deal with a “specific name”.

The success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) operation in Kursk region was due to a combination of factors, including the inaction of Russian generals, who “lied too much” and stopped adequately perceiving the threat, said Major General Apti Alaudinov, commander of the Chechen special forces “Akhmat”.

“Here, many accompanying factors came together. The enemy calmly withdrew units from some of our areas, where some commanders were mostly engaged in lying, and they were redeployed here. And their training was quite serious,” Alaudinov said.

According to him, the Russian military command initially analyzed the situation, “calculated all the pros and cons and was ready for anything.” “But then it turned out that some of the leaders of the Ministry of Defense, as I understand it, they deceived, and lied, and cheated so much that in the end they deceived themselves,” Alaudinov noted, without specifying who he meant.

Earlier, the commander of “Akhmat” said that the breakthrough of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region “has a last name, first name and patronymic”. “I think that the Supreme Commander-in-Chief [Vladimir Putin] will make the appropriate decision,” he added.
