Ukrainian Armed Forces Set Trap For Russians In Donbas

The Russian Armed Forces' landing force fell into a trap and was defeated.

The fighters of the K-2 battalion of the 54th separate mechanized brigade repelled the Russian assault on one of the sections of the front. The Russians used motorcyclists, armored vehicles, and infantry. As dialog.ua writes, the unit's press service released a video of the battle.

Before the assault on Ukrainian positions, the Russian command sent its sappers on motorcycles to clear the area through which the armored vehicles were supposed to drive.

However, the enemy sappers were immediately detected using aerial reconnaissance. They were met with fire by the infantry of the K-2 battalion together with the UAV operators who were dropping mines on the occupiers.

Then, a Russian MT-LB with a landing force drove towards the Ukrainian positions, and was burned by the Ukrainian infantry from close range using rocket-propelled grenade launchers.

In addition, the Ukrainian defenders fired at the enemy infantry from small arms and used drones.

A group of occupiers, having entered the Ukrainian trenches, found themselves under machine gun fire, and shells from drones fell on their heads.

“Having entered our trench, the Russian paratroopers could understand that they had entered the same kill zone, a trap prepared for them in advance, but it was too late,” noted the K-2 battalion of the 54th separate mechanized brigade.

After the unsuccessful assault, some Russian occupiers tried to escape, then Ukrainian drones worked on them with drops.
