AFU Come As Close As 16 Kilometres To Kursk Nuclear Power Plant

The Ukrainian army approached the town of Lgov.

The deep breakthrough of the AFU into the territory of Russia continues and is accompanied by new troubles for the Russians.

According to incoming information, the Ukrainian military have reached the outskirts of the town of Lgov in Kursk region, which is located just 16 kilometres from the Kursk nuclear power plant, reports dialog.ua.

The night before, footage appeared on social networks showing an AFU fighter standing next to the road sign of "end of the settlement" of Lgov.

Moreover, in the morning there appeared footage of the AFU taking captive and packing a group of Russians, who are employees of the Ukrainian Federal Penitentiary Service from the local colony. It is reported that they were thrown into the fight, as the Russians have no other forces to defend themselves.

It is only 60 kilometres from Lgov to Kursk. The Russians are at a standstill and do not fully understand the plans of the Ukrainian army.

It is not known exactly what kind of breakthrough the Ukrainian armed forces are preparing. However, the loss of control over the nuclear power plant will be a heavy blow for the Russians.
