Syrsky: Sudzha Has Been Completely Cleared Of Russians

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told Zelensky about the advancement of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region.

The Ukrainian forces have completed the search and destruction of the enemy in Sudzha, Kursk region of Russia. Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian military has advanced in the Russian border areas.

This has been reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky.

“The units of the Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Kursk region. Since the beginning of the day, the troops have advanced in some areas by 1-2 kilometers,” the statement reads.

Syrsky also underlined that the search and destruction of the enemy in the village of Sudzha was completed.

Ukrainian troops captured more than 100 Russian servicemen.

“I am grateful to everyone involved. This will speed up the return home of our guys and girls,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during a talk with Syrsky.
