Late in the evening, Russian authorities announced an emergency evacuation of residents of Glushkovo district of Kursk region. In the evening on Wednesday, August 14, the head of Glushkovo district of Kursk region Pavel Zolotarev made an urgent statement. He announced an emergency evacuation of the local population. The message was published on his official account on social network, reports Dialog.UA.

‘Attention! Urgent evacuation of Glushkovo district in the village of Zadannoye,’ wrote the official of the Russian Federation.

Apparently, Zolotarev made a typo. Probably, he meant the village Zvannoye. The matter in question is about mandatory evacuation. People are called to go to the village 5 km away from the district centre.

Power structures, military, local administration and vigilantes of the Kursk ‘Patriot’ Centre will coordinate the evacuation process. The Russian official did not specify the reasons for the emergency evacuation.

However, it is known that there are active hostilities in these territories.

On August 14, it was reported that the AFU took control of the villages of Vnezapnoye and Novoivanovka in this district.
