SSU Special Forces Conduct Largest Mass Capture Of Russian Military

Soldiers of the ‘Alpha’ special unit took a company stronghold fortified from all sides.

Special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine have captured 102 servicemen of the Russian Federation. This operation is the most massive capture of enemy fighters at one time. The details were shared with ‘Focus’ by sources in the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) on August 15.

The special operation was carried out by fighters of the Alpha special unit. They captured and mopped up a branched, concretised and qualitatively fortified from all sides company stronghold. On its territory, the Russian Federation placed underground communications, rooms for soldiers' accommodation, a canteen, a weapons room and even a bathhouse.

‘The enemy was not going to surrender, there were more than enough provisions and ammunition,’ the SSU stressed.

The sources noted that the soldiers of the 488th Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces and the Chechen Akhmat special unit were captured.
