The dictator again stated that ‘we are Russian people’.
During an interview with the Rossiya TV channel, Aliaksandr Lukashenka spoke about the ‘integration’ of Belarus and Russia and said a lot of nice words for Russians.
Lukashenka said that the ‘integration’ is based on his close relationship with Putin, as well as the fact that Belarusians are supposedly no different from Russians.
‘As some people say, we are Russian people. What is the difference between us - Belarusians and Russians? There is none,' Lukashenka expressed his opinion.
He recalled that he once called Belarusians ‘Russians with a quality mark,’ but now he called it a joke.
