How the Kremlin plugs holes in the Kursk region.
It seems that the Russian state has taken a conscious course to plug holes in the Kursk region with conscripts. That is, literally throwing conscripts against tanks and into a real war.

…It is not necessary to make children out of 18-year-old male conscripts, to whom we should give a nipple and send them to sleep. This is the same defender of the fatherland as we are. He must be aware of this. He needs to be prepared for this. No need to prepare him for the fact that he should not be anywhere at all, should not take part in anything, and he should just come, eat the bread of the state for free, wear the clothes that the state will give him, and then go home and tell about his service."
This is a fresh Apti Alaudinov, who was appointed (unofficially) by Konashenkov in charge of the battles in the Kursk region.
Leaving aside the fact that it is impossible to come up with a worse candidate for the role of a talking military head even on purpose, I am directly interested in the words "Why do this country need you and your children?" Tens of thousands of fathers and mothers of conscripts must respond.
