Biden Says He Is Not Talking To Putin After Prisoner Swap

He thanked the German chancellor during his speech to welcome back the prisoners.

US President Joe Biden has no intention to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin after the exchange of prisoners. This was stated by the head of the US administration in a speech to the families of the prisoners transferred to Washington.

"As my sister says, from your mouth to God's ears," Biden said in response to a question about whether relations between Russia and the United States would improve after the exchange. He added that he did not need to talk to Putin about the exchange.
