One of the pontoon crossings built by the Russian military on the Seim River near Glushkovo in the Kursk region has disappeared, Radio Svoboda reports.
The satellite images from August 18 show the pontoon crossing that appeared between the villages of Zvannoye and Glushkovo after the destruction of permanent bridges, but on August 19 it was gone.
The footage shows a cloud of smoke 500 meters from the place where the crossing was located. This may indirectly indicate that the object was blown up.
According to NASA FIRMS satellite data, a fire was recorded in the Seim River area near the place where that very crossing was located on the afternoon of August 19.
The second pontoon crossing to the east of the village of Glushkovo is still seen in the imagery dated August 19, but it won’t last long.
