Lukashenka Replaces First Deputy Chairman Of State Border Committee

Ihar Butkevich has been dismissed from military service to the reserve.

On August 21, Aliaksandr Lukashenka replaced the first deputy chairman of the State Border Committee of Belarus.

Major-General Ihar Butkevich has been dismissed from military service on the grounds of age with the right to wear military uniforms and insignia. Colonel Andrei Filatau was appointed the new first deputy chairman of the State Border Committee.
