Kazakh Foreign Ministry Warns Lukashenka

Belarusian Ambassador was called "to answer" due to the dictator's statements.

Belarusian Ambassador Pavel Utsiupin was invited to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry and explained the effectiveness of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's foreign policy, the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.

During the meeting between Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu and Belarusian Ambassador Pavel Utsiupin, "current issues of Kazakh-Belarusian cooperation were discussed both at the bilateral level and within the framework of multilateral organizations."

In particular, the minister emphasized that Kazakhstan is pursuing a balanced and peaceful foreign policy in accordance with the UN Charter and international law, and all disagreements between states should be resolved by political and diplomatic means.

"In the current geopolitical conditions, the country's foreign policy developed by the head of state has proven its effectiveness. In this regard, the Minister called on the Belarusian side to objectively assess Astana's position regarding the ongoing processes," the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry wrote.

Earlier, in an interview with Russian propagandists, Aliaksandr Lukashenka said that some post-Soviet countries "want to take something from Russia and give nothing in return," mentioning Kazakhstan.
