Russia Withdrawing Troops From Berdyansk District

Most likely they are being transferred to Kursk region.

The occupation army of the Russian Federation is being withdrawn from some settlements of the temporarily occupied Berdyansk district. Local authorities link such a decision with the need to transfer troops to the territory of Kursk region.

As the deputy chairman of Berdyansk district council Viktor Dudukalov said on air of the FREEДОМ TV channel, the Russians began to withdraw the military contingent from the temporarily occupied territories as early as the 4th-5th day of the Kursk operation.

‘In some settlements, in some villages, local people reported that the entire contingent that occupied the village was withdrawn, that is, the personnel there numbered, let's say, in the hundreds, and there was absolutely no one. That is, people were very pleasantly surprised. And the trend continued,’ he said.

The Ukrainian official explained that he was referring to the rear, where enemy troops were concentrated to be sent to the front in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. However, plans have now changed and they will head to defend Kursk region.

‘It is unambiguous and obvious that the tendency is such that the troops at different intervals, at different speeds, but leave almost alternately the entire territory of the occupied Zaporizhzhia region. Berdyansk district is a clear confirmation of this,’ Dudukalov added.
