Several Strikes Could Take Place: New Details Of Attack On ‘Marinovka’ Airfield In Russian Federation

The aircraft parking area and warehouses with smart bombs were hit.

A drone attack on the Marinovka military airfield in Russia's Volgograd region has damaged the aircraft parking lot. Fires broke out as a result of several fly-ins.

NASA satellites recorded three hotbeds of fire on the territory of the aerodrome. The Russian media publish photos and video from ‘Marinovka’.

Judging by the images, one of the fires broke out at the technical position of aircraft maintenance - the site where the planes are parked. Another one - to the north, on the territory where, in particular, tanks are located. The third fire was at the area where the runway of the airfield is located.

According to media reports, as of August 21, 3-5 Su-30/34 fighters were stationed at the airfield. Preliminarily, they were redeployed from the Morozovsk airfield after numerous attacks.

OBOZ.UA has learnt from its own sources that the SSU and SOF hit warehouses with smart bombs and fuel at the Marinovka aerodrome. The specified airfield is actively used by the enemy to bombard the front line in Ukraine.

All night and morning, local residents were listening to the explosions in warehouses with aircraft bombs, ammunition and fuel and lubricants. Columns of black smoke were rising above the airfield and a powerful detonation was heard.
