Expert: Seven Russian Su Aircraft Hit At Marinovka Airbase

OSINT analysts have calculated the losses of the Russian Federation.

Russian occupiers may have damaged seven Russian Su aircraft as a result of an attack by Ukrainian UAVs on the Marinovka airbase in the Volgograd region. This is reported by the OSINT researcher The Military Watch.

He came to this conclusion after analyzing photos and videos of the aftermath of the attack on the Internet. The expert counted the aircraft that were in hangars and in the repair area.

In his opinion, the list of losses of the Russian Aerospace Forces is as follows:

one Su-34 was completely destroyed in the repair area;

one faulty Su-24 was completely destroyed in the repair area;

one Su-34 was destroyed or damaged beyond repair in hangar 3;

two Su-34s were damaged in hangars 5 and 6;

one Su-24 was probably damaged in hangar 7.

He noted that the aircraft in hangar 4 was also destroyed or damaged, but the researcher could not determine its exact model.

It is important to note that on August 22, JOF and SSU drones attacked the Marinovka airbase in the Volgograd region — the only airfield in the Russian Federation with a shelter for aircraft, where 30 bombers were based. Several hangars and individual buildings were destroyed and damaged, and a large area of fire is visible on the territory of the airbase.
