Ukraine Returns 115 Military Personnel From Russian Captivity

Russian conscripts could return to the Russian Federation.

On Saturday, August 24, Ukraine returned 115 Ukrainian soldiers from Russian captivity.

This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.

“Another 115 of our defenders returned home today. These are soldiers of the National Guard, the Armed Forces, the Navy, the State Border Service. We remember each and every one of them. We are searching and making every effort to return them all,” he wrote.

The head of the Ukrainian state thanked “every unit that replenishes our exchange fund”.

“This brings closer the release of our soldiers, our civilians from Russian captivity. Thanks to our team and partners, the UAE for the fact that our people are returning home,” he said.

According to Russian media, 115 conscripts who were captured in the Kursk region have returned to the Russian Federation.
