Zelensky Launches The Most Brutal Campaign Against Russian Propagandists

It's worth seeing.

Well, it's an epic story for the weekend. But first, a small lyrical digression.

My mother spoke only Ukrainian until the age of six. After the death of her mother, that is, my grandmother, in 1937, she was raised by her great-grandmother in Chernihiv in a purely Ukrainian society. Therefore, when my grandfather drove her to Kyiv before the war, for every "Look, haystacks are standing like houses" in Ukrainian he insistently repeated that it was necessary to say it in Russian.

My father is a thoroughbred Volga mermaid, a Yaroslavl bear. When he and his mother moved from Leningrad to Kyiv, he, of course, did not know a single word in Ukrainian. When our family was sad, someone was sick or just was not in the mood, my mother and I asked him (and still ask) to pronounce the word "palyanytsia" in Ukrainian.

It has always been and remains a heartbreaking spectacle that cheers me and my mother up. A person who was not born in Ukraine and has not absorbed this language since childhood can't really do it.

So, Zelensky launched the most, in my opinion, cruel and provocative campaign against Russian propagandists. He announced that the new Ukrainian "missile-drone" (whatever that means) would be called "Palyanitsa".

In order to see how the announcers of Russian state channels will kneel to pronounce this, I am ready to subscribe to these channels again, like General Chernota, for a day — to listen, have fun and unsubscribe again.

Meanwhile, the first shots with the new Ukrainian Palyanitsa long-range missile-drone appeared. We are waiting for news reports on Russian media.
