US Imposes Sanctions On Hungary

For supporting Russian aggression.

The US imposed sanctions on two entities in Hungary for their support of Russian aggression.

This was reported by US Ambassador to Hungary David Pressman on the social network X.

“Met with representatives of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry to notify them that the United States is imposing sanctions on a number of entities, including two entities in Hungary,” Pressman wrote.

According to him, one of these entities is involved in strengthening the Russian energy sector and seeks to work on the Paks-2 project (the construction of new nuclear power plant units in Hungary — edit.), while the other supplies the Russian military machine.

“We remain concerned about the Hungarian government's decisions to deepen ties with the Kremlin and maintain Hungary's dependence on Russian energy,” the US Ambassador emphasized.
