Explosions Rocked Homel At Night

These were definitely not fireworks.

Residents of Homel woke up from explosions at about 2 a.m. on August 27. As Flagshtok writes with reference to locals, these were “definitely not fireworks or firecrackers”.

The sound of the explosion was recorded in the south of Homel (in the Novobelitsky and Sovetsky districts) at about 2 a.m.

“It banged hard,” “After the bang, a shock wave went through the glass 30 seconds later,” “I thought I was dreaming it, but unfortunately, no,” Homel residents shared in district chats.

It is unknown what exploded. It should be noted that Russian “Shaheds” flew into Belarus that night.
