Developments On Belarusian-Ukrainian Border

Kyiv revealed the details.

Ukrainian border guards do not record the accumulation or movement of military forces and means of Belarus in close proximity to the state border of Ukraine, but observe it inside the country.

"Along the very borderline, all the elements of the Defence Forces of our country have full control along the entire length from Volyn to Chernihiv region, and we did not note any non-standard situations directly along the borderline. In addition, we do not record that in the immediate vicinity of our border, there was a movement of vehicles or personnel or a significant build-up of units of the Belarusian army, " said the speaker of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko on the air of the national telethon, Ukrainska Pravda writes.

But, according to him, given that Belarus remains in the orbit of Russia's influence, Ukraine is preparing for any situation.

"Including regarding the statements and information that we have, that in the depths of the territory of Belarus, there is still some movement of vehicles and personnel, various troops, a certain increase. We hope, of course, that Belarus will be smart enough not to take rash steps and attempts to destabilize the situation in our direction. After all, our warriors will give an adequate response," he added.

According to Demchenko, Belarusian troops are at a distance of tens of kilometres from the Ukrainian border (depending on a particular area).
