Russian Drone Attack On Kyiv Consequences In Pictures

Several explosions were heard in the city.

The police showed photos of the aftermath of the Russian drone attack on Kyiv on Thursday, August 29. Debris from enemy drones fell on the capital.

RBC-Ukraine reported citing the Kyiv police on Facebook.

Debris from the "Shaheds" fell in three districts of Kyiv. According to preliminary information, as a result of the enemy's night attack, three apartments in a multi-story building in the Goloseevsky district and two private houses in the Desnyansky district were damaged.

Parts of Russian drones were also found in several places in the Dniprovsky district. They are being examined by police bomb experts.

In all cases, there were no casualties.

What else is known about the consequences of the attack

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia launched 74 kamikaze drones at Ukraine last night, as well as three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and two missiles, the type of which is being determined.

The Air Forces destroyed two Kh-59/69 missiles and 60 Shahed drones. Another 14 drones were lost, they fell on the territory of Ukraine. The air defence operated in the Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Sumy and Donetsk regions.

In Kyiv, explosions were heard several times during the night. As reported by the Kyiv Military Administration, a dozen and a half drones were destroyed in the area of the capital city. There were no direct hits in Kyiv.
