Russia Moves Unique Hardware From Arctic To Ukraine

Russian occupation troops have redeployed the Arctic brigade of marines and unique equipment from the Arctic to Ukraine. This was reported by the speaker of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk on the air of the TV marathon.

‘We have seen here even the Arctic Marine Brigade, so it is already difficult to surprise us with something. However, we were surprised by the presence here of unique hardware that is designed for the Arctic, which was successfully burned in the Ukrainian southern steppes. Here they really managed to surprise us, because this is unique equipment, expensive, and it is sacrilege to use it in such a way,’ Pletenchuk said.

He also noted that the Russian army is not yet able to use the Marines for their intended purpose.

‘It is impossible at our direction at the moment. The combat capabilities of precisely the marine infantry are greatly reduced. The ships themselves cannot go to sea, and they are not ready to take risks. For example, they do not risk using large landing ships at sea, which are designed for this purpose. Accordingly, we can't even talk about the landing of sea troops in this context,’ Pletenchuk stressed.

The naval spokesman explained that the landing of troops in most cases is not carried out as an independent operation, as there must be a counter operation on land for this to happen, and such capabilities of the Russians ‘have fallen dramatically’.
