The police are powerless.
There was a wave of protests and clashes in the UK after a knife attack on a children's dance class in Southport and three children killed. Authorities are bracing for more unrest ahead of planned rallies in Rotherham, Rushmoor, Weymouth, Middlesboro and Lancaster.
In turn, looters take advantage of the opportunity and rob shops throughout Britain. Daily Mail reported.
The night before Aug. 3, police were pushed to the breaking point as fighting broke out from Bristol and Stoke to Liverpool, Manchester and Hull. Looters smashed shops and burned buildings and cars. As a result of the clashes, several police officers were hospitalized.
Protesters destroyed and set fire to shops, and looters most often made a profit from alcohol, clothing and electronics. It comes after tensions erupted on the streets of Britain over the killing of children in Southport.
In the coming days, law enforcement agencies plan to attract an additional 4,000 enforcers to fight looters. In turn, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer promised full support for police action to combat "extremists who try to sow hatred by intimidating communities." He held emergency talks with ministers over unrest in Britain.
