SSU Exposes Entire Network Of Russian Agents

It operated in six regions of Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine announced the neutralization of an agent network of the Russian FSB, which was preparing missile and drone strikes on six regions of Ukraine. The suspects were detained simultaneously in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Donetsk, Odesa and Kirovohrad regions.

The press service of the department stated that the defendants acted separately, but cooperated with one career employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation, his identity has already been established, the SSU says.

The suspects collected information about targets for Russian shelling. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, a total of nine people have been exposed.

Among the agents are an official of the Dnipro City Council and the head of the department in the Yuzhne City Council of the Odesa Region. They established the locations of air defense systems and key electrical substations.

The group also included managers and a university student who recorded the movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces trains in the direction of the eastern front. Another traitor turned out to be a former employee of the disbanded militia, who “reported” to the occupiers on the consequences of the attack on one of the hydroelectric power stations in Ukraine.
