New EU Sanctions Against Belarusian Enforcers And Propagandists: Full List Published

28 people fell under the sanctions.

Today it became known that the European Union imposed sanctions against Belarusian enforcers and propagandists. 28 people were included in the list for their “role in the ongoing internal repression and human rights violations in Belarus,” according to a press release of the EU Council.

The sanctions list includes:

Andrei Ananenka, Head of GUBOPiK (Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption);

Mikhail Bedunkevich, Deputy Head of GUBOPiK;

Dzmitry Kovach, Deputy Head of GUBOPiK;

Mikhail Kavaliou, Deputy Head of the Department of Public Prosecutions of the Department of the Prosecutor General's Office for Supervision of Compliance with the Law of Court Decisions in Criminal Cases;

Viktar Dubrovka, Head of prison #11;

Pavel Kazakou, Head of Hrodna Prison #1;

Dzianis Talstenkou, Head of prison #4;

Vasil Kaleda, Deputy Head of Hrodna Prison No.1;

Andrei Cedrik, Head of pretrial detention centre #1;

Iryna Akulovich, General Director of BelTA;

Mikita Rachylouski, Chairman of the Youth Council of the National Assembly;

Dzmitry Zhuk, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Belarus Segodnya Publishing House;
